Helene Immel was born in October of 1993, near Stuttgart Germany. She is of German and Russian heritage through both her parents who are from the former USSR. Having a musician and performer as a father, Helene has been surrounded by music all of her life. She lived in Germany for the fist eight years of her life. After this, her family along with 6 younger siblings, decided to move out to California, where she would take her first steps as a professional singer.

Helene’s childhood was one filled with many farewells and difficulties as her and her family had to frequently relocate, due to financial struggles; but this did not keep her from singing. At the age of nine Helene began to sing and develop her musical talent, and instantly began to look at music as something she would really love and enjoy to do as a career.

She began to perform on a regular basis to simple karaoke tracks at the events the local newspaper put together, in Sacramento, CA. Helene was also a part of the Fist Annual Fairytale Town Talent Show, and being one of the youngest contestants she took first place with the song “My Heart Will Go On” By Celine Dion. By the time she was thirteen she was working with a blues guitar player in San Diego, CA. They collaborated and were able to put together small gigs in restaurants, cafes, and festivals all over San Diego County. As well as learning some basics on the acoustic guitar. Additionally she worked as a demo vocalists with a local studio in San Diego.

Around the time Helene was fifteen years old, she found herself writing music she believed people could relate to. The few guitar chords she got down didn’t stop her from writing as much as she could. Helene insisted that she takes action with her songs and search for a producer in San Diego who she could consult about her music and her career. The first phone call she made ended up in a scheduled meeting for that upcoming friday. When meeting with producer Jeff McCullough soon after their meeting, Helene was a part of an Album made up of twelve local artists, called “Song For Food” a record that donated 100% of the proceeds to help people in need. Along with two other talented artists of the Album, Moi and Morgan Leigh. Where they got the chance to be a part of a show along side American Idol Star, David Archuleta.

Continuing to work as a demo vocalist, Helene adamantly continued to work on her lyrics and melodies. In the Summer of 2011 She found herself with thirteen freshly composed songs. Songs that told a story about her hardships and treasures found in midst of it all. This time around Helene believed that these songs are really going to mean something to someone out there as much as they mean to her. As she became older and experienced her vocals and musical skills with the guitar developed along with the depth and meaning of her lyrics, which, became more meaningful and deeper since they are all based on events and or people that shaped and transformed her life, and have brought her to where she currently is.

Helene is currently working on her writing. Helene decide to continue to move on in her pursuit of a long and successful music career not only for herself but all of her loved ones. In which she deiced to relocate to Los Angeles. Now with a renewed desire and passion.
